What To Bring To Your Bridal Appointment

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR BRIDAL APPOINTMENT

Shopping for a wedding dress is a fun and exciting experience for the bride to be and her

entourage, but what should the bride bring with her? These tips will help make shopping stress free and even more fun!

  1. Your budget- the most important thing to have established is your budget for the wedding dress. Be upfront and honest with your stylist about your budget so she's able to select the perfect dresses for you within your desired budget.

  2. Shoes- the bride may not have her wedding shoes yet, however if she plans to wear heels, bring a pair with a similar height or if she’s planning on flats or another type of shoe, wear that to your appointment.

  3. The MIP- Most Important Person, A lot of our brides have one or two people who absolutely must love the dress in order for her to say yes. Be sure that person is with you for all appointments or if they physically cannot be present, let your stylist know and she will be happy to assist with a video call.

  4. Supportive Entourage- Brides are selecting the most important dress they will ever wear and it’s super important to have friends/family that will support her and not be negative. At Sparkle & Sass by Stacie, we have a guest limit of 4 of people and recommend bringing only 2 guests with you. Our recommendation is to ensure that the bride doesn’t get overwhemeled with too many opinions and is able to really focus on finding her perfect dress. We make sure wedding dress shopping is a fun and relaxing experience for our bride no matter how many MIPs she has.

  5. An Open Mind- We see everyday (And have done it ourselves too) brides come in with a picture of a dress they love and then try on a completely different style and love it even more! It’s totally ok to have an idea in mind of what you want, however if the bride has an open mind, she just may be surprised with what she finds;)
